I am so lucky to have Nicole. She does everything needed as I decline she picks up more. She communicates with doctors, schedules appointments, drives, shops, prepares meals, runs errands, takes care of my cats, goes to doctors with me. I value her companionship. When I asked what she values her job and she said she likes taking care of me. It shows in what she does.

I want to say how impressed I am with the folks at BrightStar Care! LVN Maxine Visited my neighbor ED at least twice a week, and always made a point of spending hours of her own time bonding with him- a truly heartfelt effort on her part.
The team of caregivers- Bernadette, Yessica, Balbina, Anna, and Lisa were all kind, caring, and extremely competent, and all put in extra effort beyond what was required. Yessica visited Ed nearly every day-on her own time-when he was hospitalized, and away from home for three weeks.
It is great to know that Director of Nursing Christy Wolf is able to assemble and maintain such a great team, especially in a field with many "less than stellar" players.

My family has used the Brightstar Homecare agency based in Lafayette, California for approximately 5 years. We have been extremely pleased with their service. The office staff are professional and compassionate. They have staffed us with short notice and have been quite accommodating of last-minute changes to our schedules. We have been very pleased with the quality of the care givers over the years. In particular, Lin D. is a wonderful aide. She is punctual, professional and highly reliable. Lin also gets along well with our family members. I recommend Brightstar Home care without reservation.

Aging is definitely not for the week, yet is hard to do that alone. Brightstar brought a team of caregivers to help me through process, I am very grateful with their services yet what brings me to write a review is to recognize a caregiver, Yessica, she has the patience of an angels army, not only she truly cares about my wellbeing but is the most dedicated to my care. She brought cooking, meaningful conversations and authentic care. She always goes above and beyond to push me to do small things to help me build my strength back through my most recent setback. From the moment I called to inquire into Brightstar's caretakers, and then had an interview with Shari I was so grateful to have found such empathic, skilled and trustworthy people! It's not easy to find the right person for long term care for your elderly husband and they diligently kept working to find the right fit for both Roger and our home. Helen and Mariela have been incredible and talked with me in-depth when needed. The person we have settled on, really is was serendipitous, is Yessica. She is a combination of caring, intelligence, skill in many areas including cooking and a delight. She and my husband have a very good and deepening relationship. I am so grateful to have her here. We both feel blessed!

My wife was having major surgery and we are caregivers for her 95 year old mother who has dementia. We needed help for a month while my wife recovered. Julienne Alford came into bathe my mother in law and spend time with her during this time. She was a quick study as well as being patient and kind. We would not hesitate to reach out again if we need any help. Also Shari Maxwell, the Director of Client Care was very supportive. Thanks again.
