For Cathy Hasbun, owner of BrightStar of Bellevue, the inspiration to buy a BrightStar franchise came from her father. Diagnosed as terminal, he wanted nothing more than to go home and be with his family and friends, his dogs: surrounded by people he loved and a familiar environment. It was a big job for Cathy to take care of him by herself, especially because the emotions involved in caring for a loved one are difficult to suppress. For her father, Cathy’s home and her care were escapes from the sterile smell of a hospital room. He was able to live his last few days in comfort and happiness. Through BrightStar, we aim to broaden this theme of comfort.
