Should seniors live alone or with family?

I frequently note the social change that we have experienced over the last 100+ years when speaking about how we care for seniors in our culture; identifying the previous and disappearing standard of multi-generational families and the concept of “taking care of our own”.  The idea of “It Takes A Village”, in the recent past, has been considered a novel approach, whereas for most of human history, that was just the way it was.  (more…)

Meet our Director of Nursing

Sandy, a Registered Nurse, has committed her life to healthcare and serving others. She began her career in neonatal intensive care, and quickly realized that upon being released home, many patients didn’t receive the continued care they needed. Sandy then joined one of the first nurse-owned pediatric homecare units, spending many nights on the road training skilled caregivers on how to provide quality healthcare to their patients. (more…)
