Our Story
We are grateful for the opportunity to serve Utah as the first BrightStar Care location in the state. Our mission is to deliver talented, loving caregivers and nurses who are reliable, caring, and capable of doing whatever it takes to meet your needs. Having the unique opportunity to be a BRIGHT LIGHT in the life of another is a gift that we cherish! From personal experience, we know how important a helping hand can be.
For over 30 years, Gary has worked in the pharmaceutical industry, and for the last several years he has managed a homecare specialty pharmacy. He brings an abundance of experience in dealing with various facets of the healthcare industry, and he is well known for his knowledge, compassion and advocacy regarding the community of those who suffer from lifelong bleeding disorders. Gary’s father endured dementia for years before his death, and Gary watched his mother and sister struggle to care for him with little or no outside help. Too often, family caregivers end up sacrificing their own health as they try to meet the needs of their loved one.
Pamela worked for many years as a full-time mother raising five wonderful children. The youngest, diagnosed several years ago with Type 1 diabetes, will be leaving to attend college in the fall. For the past two years, Pamela has been heavily involved with the care of her parents: her father, in his 90s, has macular degeneration, and her mother, nearly 90, was recently diagnosed with dementia. Pamela knows about caring for others, and realizes the vital importance of occasional respite for caregivers.
We want to be the people you can call when you need help. We will find the answers you need. You are not alone. We care. Call us — anytime — at (801) 290-1290.
