The Erie BrightStar team is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Nurse Manager will ensure that each client and family receives the highest level of care and service.

The answer to your question is “Yes, we can!” After you tell us what you need, we will custom-tailor a service plan and make all of the necessary arrangements.

Our experienced staff includes CNAs, HHAs, companions, live-in personal care attendants, RNs, LPNs and many other medical professionals. Every BrightStar employee is extensively trained, bonded, insured, drug tested and background checked.

About the Owner

Prior to establishing Erie County BrightStar, local owner Steve O’Dell worked in healthcare for nearly 20 years, most recently in the clinical development of biotechnologies. He found that the most rewarding part of his career was meeting with patients who were helped by these new products, and he began to look for a way to directly focus his efforts on patient interaction and care.

Home healthcare proved a perfect fit, and BrightStar Care was the only company that offered the full continuum of care and medical staffing. Steve is honored for the opportunity to positively impact the Erie community by providing peace of mind to patients and their families.

Steve is active with the Independent Council on Aging, the Erie Chamber of Commerce and the Erie Downtown Partnership. He is also working toward his designation as a Certified Senior Advisor.
