Local Owner John Mason

After studying Kinesiology and spending a short time in physical therapy, John moved into the pharmaceutical industry. A 20-year career followed, with experience in sales, marketing, and finally sales management.

Although he had a successful career, John found he had detoured a long way from the personal patient care he originally set out to provide. By combining a passion for patient care and knowledge of the medical industry, John became a BrightStar owner. Now he is delivering on the promise he made to himself many years ago — to help people.

John and his staff have over 45 years of combined experience in the healthcare industry, and they are committed to providing the care, trust and help you need. They know what it’s like to care for aging or ill family and friends, and they treat their clients the same way they would treat their own loved ones.

John lives in Sherman Oaks with his wonderful wife Evelyn and two beautiful girls, Mia and Sarah.
