Local owner Kathy Roslonski started Pittsburgh BrightStar after seeking care for her own family. She experienced firsthand the pressures and worries families face trying to juggle the triple obligations of work, home, and caregiving.

“Our family realized fairly quickly that we needed in-home support,” Kathy said, “someone with a healthcare background who could not only provide a higher and more knowledgeable level of care, but could also answer questions and help lower our anxiety levels.”

Kathy’s search for qualified homecare led her to BrightStar; her personal experience inspired her to establish one of the first BrightStar franchises in the country.
