Jillian is an outstanding caregiver - professional, kind, compassionate and detail-oriented. Theresa's health has improved considerably in Jillian's care which is a huge relief for Theresa's family and friends.

BrightStar Gurnee caregiver Toni has been such a wonderful person in our family's life. My mom has dementia, diabetes, and cancer and she requires a lot of care and attention. Though I live thousands of miles away, I feel relieved knowing that Toni is there to care for my mom. I have watched her keep my mom engaged verbally or through playing puzzles and games and they go on outings together which I know my mom really appreciates and looks forward to. I feel safe knowing that she's there and can call me should anything happen.

We are so happy with BrightStar! When we needed xtra help at the last minute they were amazing at filling our need with short notice! Adriana and Jackie, who took our call for help, were just so kind and so accommodating! And the helpers they sent were wonderful! What a relief in such a crisis on our end. And we are so pleased with my Dad's regular caregivers! Niya and Evelyn are sweet hearts! Niya is literally sunshine so early every morning!! And Evelyn, is so patient with my Dad. She's been very creative at engaging his mind playing made up games, even tho my Dad rarely speaks. These girls are just a blessing. Thank you, BrightStar.

Our family was so fortunate to have learned of Brightstar from our Palliative Care doctor. We had incredible caregivers for both our dad and then 7 months later, our mom. Mom required 24/7 care and the caregivers were unbelievable: kind, caring, compassionate and gentle. Not only did mom love them, but we did too. She was in such capable and loving hands. We felt so lucky mom could be at home, in her own bed, with her dog, for her final weeks, which is exactly where she wanted to be. We were able to spend wonderful time with her without having to worry if we were coming in and out, especially during the night. A special thank you to Teeyonshay, Carletta, and Tina and the rest of the team for making mom comfortable and tending to her every need with love and concern. In addition, the staff at Brightstar was amazing as well - thank you Adrianna, Alissa and Lori - I spoke to you all daily and appreciated your kindness, compassion and professionalism as well. We are so grateful and highly recommend Brightstar Gurnee. If I could give 10 stars I would!

I am so very happy with the caregivers assigned to my Dad! Thank you, thank you Brightstar, for Carletta and Laniya and Jeanette!! I live out of state and for months I never knew when I would get an urgent call to come help my Mom with my Dad. These visits were quite stressful. But ever since we set up Brightstar girls to come every day, I can relax knowing they BOTH have the care they need. The real care is for my Dad, but my Mom is equally helped because she can count on this needed break every day . And when I visit now, having the girls there makes for a much more relaxing environment. It impressed me that the girls are each very capable of single-handedly getting my Dad out of bed in the mornings. They make it look so easy! But I know firsthand it's not, because before we hired Brightstar I would help my Mom sit him up and into his wheelchair and it was a lot of work for the TWO OF US! It's also just so early in the morning! Yet these girls come in with such fresh energy and happiness. What an added blessing for my Dad and my Mom! Niya is particularly a dynamo. There really aren't enough complimentary words. She truly is answered prayer! I don't know what we need to do to keep her, but she's the bomb. She is so upbeat and positive at all times. And she keeps this beautiful demeanor even in the most stressful situations. It really is impressive! Niya has such a good heart, too. I can truly see she cares for my Dad. She tends to my Dad in all things - helping him walk the long slow walk from the bedroom to the kitchen, - such patience! - shaving him, whipping up a breakfast like a professional chef, taking him outside for walks or just sitting with him in the fresh air. And she is always looking to do more. So she freely assists my Mom with ANY house work - the bedding, laundry, sweeping the floor, bringing in the paper or the mail - it's just incredible. She's JUST AMAZING!!! Now, I did not mention Jeanette in my initial phone call because I did not meet her. But my Mom has told me many many times about the wonderful activities she has done with my Dad - all on her own initiative. She really works with my Dad in a very creative and personal way. She thinks up games and hands on things he can do with her. My Mom loves to see this! And my Dad is better for it because she keeps him awake and occupied. So I really want her recognized as well. All 3 of these girls are a blessing. Thank you again for these girls. It was a process over the last 4 months, but you have truly found perfect matches for both my parents and I'm so grateful. BrightStar of Gurnee has been my resource for caregivers for 2+ years and has done a great job. In particular, Bev Ford has done a terrific job, always being on time, arriving with a smile and executing her responsibilities. She also is quick to respond to any special needs.

Thanks so much for Evelyn's special attention to my deaf, special needs daughter. Jaimie really responds to Evelyn and I can tell she really likes Evelyn. It means so much to me as a father to have her cared for so kindly and thoughtfully.
