Brian M. Fitzpatrick, Owner / President– Brian is a Certified Senior Advisor and active owner of BrightStar of Lower Bucks County. With over 20 years of business leadership and customer service experience, Brian has built an award-winning (Best of Bucks, 2009) homecare and staffing agency. Inspired by his father’s healthcare needs, Brian started BrightStar of Lower Bucks County in 2006 and has become a leader in his field. Brian stays personally involved in all homecare cases and in the selection of each BrightStar employee.
Tracy Mero, RN – Director of Nursing – Tracy is a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of home care, hospice and hospital nursing experience. She oversees the training, skills testing, and compliance of each employee. Additionally, Tracy customizes each Care Plan for our clients and oversees case supervision on each case.
Mariann E. Wilusz, RN, BSN - Nurse Case Manager – Mariann has been a Registered Nurse since 2011. She is a graduate from Roxborough Memorial Hospital’s School of Nursing, and The Pennsylvania State University, Abington campus. Mariann provides oversight on all of the cases ensuring efficient and proper care to all of our clients. She customizes each Care Plan for our clients, orients our care team to that plan, and conducts in-home nursing visits to assess, re-evaluate, and supervise each case.
Tracy McDonald, Service Coordinator– Tracy has been with BrightStar of Lower Bucks County for over five years and is responsible for scheduling client services. Tracy maintains the client’s care schedule, assigns the most appropriate caregiver to the case, and monitors employee credentials to ensure compliance. Tracy’s good nature, exceptional work ethic, and willingness to always put the customer first has allowed BrightStar to attract and retain the best caregivers in the business.
Kelly Perri, Sales/ Marketing / Recruiting- Kelly joined BrightStar of Lower Bucks in January 2010, after owning and operating her own businesses for over 23 years. Kelly is responsible for sales and marketing in the Philadelphia and Bucks County area, and recruiting and hiring exceptional employees. Kelly recruits and carefully screens applicants to ensure that BrightStar is hiring the best. Kelly’s attention to detail and interviewing skills enable BrightStar of Lower Bucks County to employ the most experienced, compassionate and reliable caregiver staff in the area.
Joann Slack, Administrative Manager– Joann is an organizational genius. Performing the weekly activities of payroll, billing, insurance claims, and office administration, Joann keeps the BrightStar of Lower Bucks County office organized and efficient. With over 20 years of professional business and administrative experience, Joann is instrumental in our compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements, including PA State Department of Health Homecare Licensure.
Christine Schonewolf, Marketing Representative– Christine is an experienced business owner and marketing representative that loves working with seniors and healthcare professionals. After years in the Assisted Living industry, Christine joined BrightStar to educate seniors, their families, and healthcare professionals about the excellent option of aging in place. Christine works with hospitals, rehab facilities, nursing homes, doctors, elder law attorneys, churches, and others that can assist seniors with finding great home care.
Our Caregivers– BrightStar of Lower Bucks County hires only experienced and carefully-screened caregivers. But they also need to have more. They need to CARE MORE and GIVE MORE to our clients and their families. In return BrightStar offers them an opportunity to learn, advance, and be rewarded for their dedication and hard work.
