I have done many things in my life, among them I was a child soloist singer at The Metropolitan Opera and an editor at The New York Times in my later years. But, second to my family (and often placed before them,) is what I am doing right now, taking care of the ones you love!

In my early twenties I found myself in exactly the same position you are
in right now. While attending Parsons School of Design, I was thrust into the position of caretaker for my Grandmother, Aurelia. It was a six-year journey with her through the stages of dementia until she passed peacefully one night in her sleep.

I saw many caregivers along the way. One good one, one negligent and abusive one, one thief and the rest were just okay. I, my family and my Branch Manager see it as our solemn duty to make sure your loved one never has to be exposed to the dark side of this business.

To me, this is a calling. I have taken the time away from my family and clients to become a Certified Senior Advisor so that I am better equipped to understand and anticipate the issues around those in my care and Make More Possible in the lives of those under my care.
