Whether it’s for recreation and just enjoying the company of others, community education or to promote health and wellbeing, local events that bring the people together are what strengthen a community from the inside out.

- May 8th 8am-10am and 9th 7am-9am: Free Asthma Screening at Good Samaritan Hospital Health and Wellness Center; 3551 Highland Ave, Downers Grove. The screenings are part of the 16th Annual Nationwide Asthma Screening Program which is sponsored by the American college of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology (ACAAI)
