Patricia Uttich, RN MS

How long have you been a Nurse?
I have been a Registered Nurse for 34 years. My credentials include a Nursing Degree from Thornton College and a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration and Leadership from National Louis University.

What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care®?
I’m a Certified Care Professional with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, and have spent the last 20 years caring for our honored seniors. I am also a member of the National Association of Directors of Nursing. As Director of Nursing, my goal is to support the team delivering the hands-on care. I am a believer in “life-long” learning and in sharing this knowledge with the team in order to be progressive and innovative in our approach.

What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about providing the highest quality care. Our goal is to improve the lives of our clients and encourage wellness and independence. As accredited members of The Joint Commission, we deliver the highest quality by thorough assessments, customized care plans, frequent re-evaluations and close nursing oversight to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
