As local BrightStar owners who live in Charlotte, we have an innate passion for helping others.  Rampi has 13+ years of experience with high-end senior living residences including Independent Living, Licensed Assisted Living and Dementia Care/Memory Care residences and she never met a home care agency that could meet her expectation of service and communication to clients.  Lou has 15+ years of experience in small business ownership and grew up hearing his mother’s day to day caregiving accounts of assisting seniors and hospice clients in their home.  Together we wanted to provide the city of Charlotte with a reputable agency, with a commitment to helping others and to be a resource in the community we serve.   When we heard about BrightStar, we decided and knew this was the opportunity that we were looking for to give back to the community and help families and create jobs individuals.

Our BrightStar office was opened in 2009 and our team is committed to providing compassionate care, top notch customer service and a peace of mind to clients and families.  Our core values are rooted in the firsthand knowledge of how difficult it is to find quality professionals to help seniors remain independent in their homes and how tough it is to manage care when families are busy or geographically not in the area. We are able to assist families by providing in home care for loved ones as young as infants all the way up to seniors with companion care, personal care assistance and skilled nursing service.   In addition, we have provided temporary medical staffing for many of the senior communities and medical facilities in the area.

Our office proudly services individuals in the South Mecklenburg county and Union county including Charlotte, Monroe and Pineville city areas when there is a need.  By having a local presence, it has allowed us to be available to our current and prospective clients 24 hrs, 7 days a week.  We also stand out in our community because we are one of the few agencies that  does not require  minimum hours of service per day/week of our clientsin order to use our services.   Additionally, we pride ourselves on our timely and effective communication with our clients and their families – we are only as good as the team we create together.  We excel at providing and maintaining excellent care and a care schedule that fits our clients’ changing needs.  With a motto of, “Yes we can”, families have been amazed at the response time to provide care in situations that can be scheduled in advance, as well as those that are more emergent in nature.  Our goal is to “not over promise and under deliver” but rather try to go beyond your expectations in service!

From childcare to elder care, the South Charlotte BrightStar team is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A supervising Nurse Manager ensures that each client and family receives the highest level of care and service.
