BrightStar St. Paul's Support Team

In the St. Paul area, the lifeblood of our business is the people who make it happen day in and day out. Our office staff and caregivers work together every day to deliver quality care and exceptional service 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether it’s childcare, adult homecare or skilled elder care, the people who make up St Paul BrightStar are our greatest assets. But don’t just take our word for it, see for yourself.

Kathryn Leet, RN – Director of Nursing

Kathryn is responsible for the clinical oversight of our professional staff and clients.  She attended the University of Minnesota and Century College where she received her RN degree.  Earlier in her career, Kathryn worked in home care as a home health aide so she understands first hand the importance of high quality client care.  Prior to coming to BrightStar,  Kathryn worked in home care as the director of nursing for another agency.  Kathryn says that she enjoys working with the team at Brightstar because “they work well together and the people are very fun to work with.”

Kathy Riemenschneider – Branch Manager

Caring for others has been a lifelong passion for Kathy and one which led her work as a personal care attendant providing in-home care for seniors and children with cerebral palsy.  From this start, Kathy went on to obtain her CNA certificate and has also worked in therapeutic recreation at an assisted living community bringing enjoyment to senior’s lives.  Kathy then  switched to the management side of senior care and coordinated a meals on wheels program and then managed a homemaking program for seniors.  “It seemed like a natural progression to become the Branch Manager for BrightStar, where I can utilize all my acquired skills in serving seniors by staffing for all their in-home needs.”

Pam Middleton – Payroll and Billing Specialist

Pam has over 15 years of experience in various operations and financial positions in several different industries.  Several years ago, after taking some time off to spend more time with her family, Pam decided to pursue a career in healthcare and completed a Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Course and then the Trained Medication Assistant (TMA) course.  After working for a year in a continuum of  care senior living community as a Nursing Assistant and TMA, Pam decided to combine her most recent healthcare experience with the knowledge and skills she obtained from her earlier employment.  After researching BrightStar, Pam felt that she could be a positive addition to the office and decided that she really wanted to be part of this BrightStar team.

Alane Davies – Director of Marketing

Alane’s personal experience as a caregiver for her mother who had vascular dementia from a stroke led her to a career shift from corporate advertising to senior healthcare and housing. Prior to joining Brightstar, Alane worked in Resident Services and Marketing for a continuum of care senior living community. During that time she saw how important homecare was to the residents that she served. Whether it is to help people stay in an independent setting longer or for additional support where ever they live, Alane is passionate about helping people maintain their independence and ability to live on their own terms.
