Allyn has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and is one of the owners of the BrightStar Care in Tucson & Sierra Vista, AZ. He started his nursing career in the U.S. Army in 1993 and specializes in critical care and emergency room. Allyn first discovered BrightStar while searching for quality caregivers for his own grandfather. Unhappy with the choices available, he widened his investigation and became very interested in BrightStar. Allyn maintains an active healthy lifestyle through a myriad of outdoor sports. Allyn is most proud of employing over 150 staff and providing a long term care option for thousands of families’ over the past nine years.
Michelle Nock has been a Registered Nurse for since 1980. She loves being a nurse and making others feel better. She has experience in acute care hospital settings, trauma, surgery, labor & delivery, pediatrics, radiology and Home Healthcare. One of Michelle’s favorite skills is in educating clients to best help themselves and maintain as much independence as possible. She believes that Home health has been a blessing in giving her the opportunity to help others at some of the most difficult times of their lives. Helping new parents cope with an ill child or helping adult children care for a dying parent at home, both events are so significant, and she feels it an honor to help others through such difficult times. Michelle obtained her Master’s in Nursing with a focus on Healthcare Education because she loves to teach. In her current role she is able to teach clients and employees. She finds it so rewarding to be help our clients recover and our employees maintain livelihoods. Owning a business where she can help clients in the comfort of their own home and support employees has been Michelle’s most gratifying role as a nurse.
Branch Manager, Sierra Vista, AZ
Christina focuses on the day-to-day wellness of our clients and goes out of her way to help them thrive at home. By working closely with caregivers, clients, and clients’ families, Christina has the opportunity to ensure happy, fulfilling days for our clients’ lives. Christina joined the BrightStar team in 2014, and has been an asset to our growth in Sierra Vista. She has been a part of the Sierra Vista community since she was a child, and is well known in the local health care community. Christina learned the rewards of helping others while working in home health care and hospice since she was 16. She brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and diverse health care experience to our team. Christina has the desire to make a difference at BrightStar and throughout the local community because, for her this is not a job, this is her passion!
Service Coordinator, Sierra Vista, AZ
Amy joined the BrightStar family in May 2017. Her experience of being a Medical Assistant for the past 7 years is a great asset to BrightStar. Amy has great compassion for helping our clients on a daily basis. With Amy’s organization skills, she is able to make sure all clients are staffed with a caregiver who meets their needs. Amy started in the medical field volunteering when she was 15 years old. She has always had a compassion to serve others. In Amy’s spare time, she enjoys drag racing, unicorns and softball. Amy has 2 daughters that are the light of her life. Amy wants her daughters to grow and know how much it means to help others and not just yourself. She shows this to them on a daily basis with the pride she shows in her job.

Healthcare has always interested Tiffany. She has her CNA and does not ever feel she can do enough to help others. Being administration assistant has helped her grow with the compassion she shows for others. She constantly asking what she can do to help. Tiffany has worked in nursing home and assisted living environments for roughly 5 years. She brings compassion, charisma, persistence to help others.
Director of Community Relations, Tucson, AZ
As a child and a young adult growing up in Wisconsin, Kevin spent the majority of his free time with his grandparents. It was there that he learned to appreciate and respect the senior community. In 2009, after working 25 years in Federal and local law enforcement, Kevin decided to take his life in a different direction. While serving the senior community of Tucson selling senior insurance products (long term care insurance), Kevin met BrightStar Care owners Allyn and Michelle Nock when one of Kevin’s clients needed long term care. Kevin immediately recognized the compassion and peace of mind the Nock’s and BrightStar provided to his clients. In February of 2011, Kevin jumped at the opportunity to join BrightStar Care in Tucson as the Director of Sales and Marketing. In this capacity, he grew a network of referral sources and educated healthcare professionals in the community about BrightStar. In October of 2012, Kevin moved to San Diego, CA where he served as the Director of Marketing for BrightStar of Encinitas/N San Diego. In November of 2014, Kevin rejoined BrightStar Care of Tucson/Sierra Vista as the Tucson office Branch Manager. In this capacity, Kevin had the ability to grow the Tucson portion of the Nock’s business with focused customer care relations and employee satisfaction. In April 2017, Kevin returned to the Tucson community to re-forge the relationships with referral partners and community allies as the Director of Community Relations. Kevin is a graduate of Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies and is also a retired Army officer (Artillery), having served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard for 22 years.
Branch Manager, Tucson, AZ
Lisa Stout has worked in healthcare since 2007. Lisa is a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), and a Certified Care Giver. Lisa started her career as a CNA/PCT in the hospital setting working with pediatric patients. She has also worked in hospice, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living homes. In time, Lisa had the opportunity to take what she had learned in the field and apply those skills in Home Health administration as an Intake Specialist for a Medicare and a non-Medicare agency. In September of 2014, Lisa joined BrightStar Care as the Intake Specialist in the Tucson office. In April of 2017 she was promoted to the Tucson Branch Manager. Lisa found her passion in the medical field at a young age due to the poor health of a close family member. As a result, Lisa has made it her mission to serve everyone with compassion.
Kheri Lee Pineda
Billing Coordinator, Tucson, AZ
Kheri Lee Pineda has always been passionate about helping people and caring for the needs of others. She has a combined healthcare experience of over 10 years, having worked in the pharmacy and health insurance industries prior to BrightStar. Kheri Lee began working with a retail Pharmacy and then with a health insurance company where she developed a passion for helping those in need while working to help members and clients understand their benefits and programs that were available to them. In 2013, she relocated to the Tucson area from California. Kheri Lee and her wonderful husband have 4 children and supportive parents, all of whom she appreciates and loves. She has worked in many different fields and work settings and found that Home Health is the work she was meant to do. “I take pride in my work, especially because I’m working towards such a great cause. I believe strongly in BrightStar’s mission and values. I think of myself as trustworthy, reliable, honest, and respectful, and it always makes me feel good inside to know that by doing my best work, I have made someone else’s day go better.”

Lisa loves being a nurse, and caring for each individual as if they were her own family. She is committed to providing an outstanding experience for every client. Lisa has over 12 years of nursing experience in a variety of health care settings, from hospitals to clinics, from babies to seniors. Her experience working with clients in all phases of the health care spectrum, will help you navigate the health care process, Lisa is a real patient advocate! Her goal is to empower clients to take charge of their lives and return to a state of health. She enjoys providing care for clients in their own homes, as they are more comfortable, they have more family/visitor involvement, and have better quality of life. HR Recruiting Coordinator, Tucson, AZ
As a long time Tucson resident, Tiffany has always had a deep seeded passion for helping those in her community. She served Tucson and surrounding areas as a 911 fire/medical dispatcher and EMT for almost 10 years; which is what really sparked her passion for those in need. Tiffany’s first experience with Home Health was when her grandmother was diagnosed with terminal cancer and she witnessed firsthand the amazing care provided to her grandmother by her home health aides as well as the hospice team. She went on to explore the many different avenues of working with homecare, home health as well as hospice, eventually finding her home with BrightStar in May of 2017 as the HR Recruiting Coordinator and Scheduler. Tiffany brings true compassion and is driven by her desire to serve her community.
