Thank you for visiting our website – we are so glad you found us! Our goal is to provide the kind of medical and non-medical care for you and your family that we want for our own parents and children.

The issue of in-home care is one that’s very close to our hearts. Chris’s parents live in Vermont, several hours’ drive from their nearest family. Both are in their eighties, and after a series of strokes and surgeries, Jean’s care falls primarily to David.  On the opposite coast in California lives Sarah’s mother.  She is in her seventies, and while Betsy gets around pretty well on her own after two knee and five hip replacements, we are all aware of the challenges that would arise if she needed homecare services.

Because we’re having the same kinds of personal experiences that you may be facing, we know you want caregiving that’s trusted, caring and compassionate, as well as highly skilled and experienced. Our values are rooted in the firsthand knowledge of how difficult it is to find quality professionals to help seniors remain independent in their homes, and how tough it is to manage care when families are busy or geographically removed.  That’s why we seek out the very best care givers, RNs, LPNs, and CNAs to offer you top-quality assistance with any of your in-home care challenges.  We and our staff are committed to compassionate care and exceptional service.

When we decided to open an agency to offer home health services to families in Boston’s northern suburbs, we knew it was important for us to work under the umbrella of a trusted name like BrightStar. It allows us to capitalize on their health care expertise, while making the best use of our educational and professional knowledge. Chris is a graduate of the University of Vermont, with an MBA from Babson Business School; Sarah graduated from Middlebury College, and holds an EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  Both of us have worked for businesses in the greater Boston area.

What kind of help at home do you need?

When you need a babysitter for your kids, we can provide one. If you need help with wound management, post operative care, or stroke rehabilitation, give us a call. If you’re trying to arrange home care for elderly parents, that’s one of our specialties. Hip replacement recovery, shoulder rehabilitation, or knee replacement recovery can be so much easier with regular assistance from a visiting nurse. Non-medical homecare, like assistance with bathing and dressing, is available from a nurse aide or a personal care attendant. Perhaps Alzheimer’s care is required for a parent; if the other parent is the elderly caregiver, we can help find an Alzheimer’s support group that’s accessible. We can even provide senior transportation to get your aging parents to doctors’ appointments.

From childcare to elder care, our BrightStar team is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our Director of Nursing will ensure that each client and family receives the highest level of care and service.

We are proudly serving most of central Middlesex County and Boston’s northern suburbs.
