Our experience with Bright Star has been very positive. They've been communicative and responsive. In particular, our aide Anneris has been wonderful. She was hired to help my father, and has been lovely and caring with him. She goes above and beyond every time to also help my mom, which has been a god send! Thank you Anneris!

My 96 year old mother took a sudden turn for the worse on a holiday weekend. I was caring for her at home and it became too much for me. I contacted BrightStar for extra support and care. To my surprise the owner herself and nurse Donna came to the house immediately, put everything into action, and aid Marie came that night to help us. Marie is so attentive , caring and kind. This agency truly stepped up when I was so desperately in need of help. I highly recommend this company.

Our aide Cathy, through BrightStar is such a big help to my mom. Having her here to help my mom gives me a break on some of the responsibilites of caregiving. She is kind, skilled, trustworthy and very reliable. She always greets us with a smile and an energetic "good morning".

My father in law has been cared for by Etrevee who has been a Godsend. My wife and I are so incredibly grateful for the compassionate care he receives from her and Brightstar. Etrevee treated him like family and helps to keep him doing his excercises and PT along with helping him fight to regain his independence. We would definitely be lost without her and the wonderful caregivers we've had through this company.

My home health aide, Nubia, has been a huge help to me during difficult times. She is dependable and caring and helps me out in getting started each day and with several daily functions I have trouble with. I recommend using Bright Star to anyone who is looking for home based care.

As others have said, we were very happy and impressed with Brightstar of Westfield & Summit. They were quick acting and accommodating every step of the way. The caregivers they sent were experienced and excellent. Our mom was in hospice care and they helped us thru that journey.

My sister and I were looking for care for our 98-year old Mom who was entering in-home hospice. The neighbor across the street recommended BrightStar Care. Our entire experience with BrightStar Care from initial interview to hiring and working with Pettol Stennett, our home health aide, couldn't have been better. During the interview, the head nurse thought she had the perfect aide for our situation and she was right. Pettol is a caring, compassionate, consummate professional. She integrated seamlessly into our home. She navigated taking on more and more responsibility without being asked. She established a trusting relationship with our Mom and offered her both emotional and physical support. While her main responsibility was our Mom she also offered much needed support to my sister and I. Pettol was here when our Mom eventually passed away. We feel blessed to have had her support. My sister and I highly recommend BrightStar Care and Pettol Stennett if you are in need of certified home health aide.

July, 2022 - BrightStar literally saved the day for us when we needed it most. My 100+ year old Dad was in need of temporary in home support - “yesterday” - and when I called Cindy, she empathetically took charge, lined us up with Mona and Donna (that afternoon) who efficiently assessed the situation. By the end of the afternoon we had support in our house for the week until I could make the trip to care for Dad. All of the support was top notch and so very kind and caring. Beginning with Natalie, then Victoria, and ending with Magdalena who was his guardian Angel and as much of a help to him as she was to me. She was willing to do ANYthing! Thank you, BrightStar for being there in my Dad’s (and my) hour of need. The care you gave Dad and the peace of mind you brought to me has been priceless. December, 2022 - BrightStar, again, has come to our family's aid in setting up 24/7 care for my Dad. Donna worked tirelessly to ensure that Dad had care who would most fit his needs and emotional well-being. I know she spent hours listening to my input, but also visiting Dad to get to know him and to better match him up with just the right person. Her dedication & persistency to his welfare and needs paid off in the form of Maureen who swooped in and over just a few days was able to get my Dad on a positive and happy course. With her wonderful sense of humor and knowledge of caring for elderly clients, she endeared herself to Dad and easily became a trusted ally for him and for all of our family.
