Linda Wheeler, RN, BSN
Linda Wheeler, RN, BSN is Wichita’s nurse who has over forty years of experience from assessing student needs of the Student Health Center in Arkansas, to staff nurse evaluating client needs and care given in the home.
Linda graduated from University of Kansas School of Nursing with her BSN in 1968. She has extensive knowledge in pediatrics and consulting with geriatric assessments for long term care insurance carriers.
She is responsible for Wichita’s assessments and nurse on call. Linda has been with BrightStar since April, 2011.
Jonny Diane Thompson, RN, MS | Director of Clinical Operations
Jonny Diane Thompson, RN, MS is the new Director of Clinical Operations for BrightStar of Wichita East. Jonny has been in the nursing field for all of her life. Born and raised in Northern Indiana, she worked as a nurse aide through high school. Jonny served for four years in the United States Air Force and continued working as a nurse aide part time in the evenings and weekends. She graduated in 1991 from St. Mary of the Plains, Wichita Kansas as an RN. Jonny has a background in Obstetrics and Pediatric including NICU and PICU and has extensive involvement with the Hospice/Home health community as a patient advocate. She is excited to be part of the BrightStar team to continue servicing the community and work with current and future clients.
