A seasoned, results-oriented leader, Christine Della Rocca, PHR, SHRM-CP, serves as Executive Vice President of Human Resources for BrightStar Care. Christine is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent management strategy at both the company owned locations and corporate office, as well as serving as a on the senior executive leadership team. Over the past two decades, Christine has led initiatives to incorporate technology into the HR experience, without letting tech get in the way of the “human” aspect of human resources.

“My vision for BrightStar Care is to enhance the value-driven culture and ensure that the culture runs deep — all the way from Shelly (Sun) to those caregivers and nurses who are in the clients’ homes every day,” Christine says. “We want to see that culture permeate everything we do as all employees model the behavior of our core values. This supports our continuous drive to be the employer and brand of choice in home health.”

Prior to joining BrightStar Care in 2022, Christine held numerous executive and director level roles for a range of organizations, including many in the healthcare field. In addition to her vast corporate experience, she also worked in the public sector for more than five years.

Building upon her past roles, Christine brings her expertise in D&I strategies and implementation to the team. She is committed to the development of a diverse workforce in order to provide opportunities to individuals, while also strengthening the enterprise. “Hiring individuals who are committed to our culture, while leadership models our core values, enables us to put the right people in the right seat at the right time,” Christine says.

In addition to Christine’s Bachelor of Arts degree and Master of Public Administration, she earned her SHRM-CP (Professional in Human Resources Certification), PHR® (Professional in Human Resources) and is a Certified Trainer for The Civil Treatment Series developed by Employment Learning Innovations, Inc. She is a member of SHRM and previously served as an advisory board member for the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center of Sumner County.

Living in the Hendersonville area with her two children, Christine is an avid runner and Peloton® enthusiast. Her family also includes gentle giant Mia, her 158-pound English Mastiff who was named after soccer great Mia Hamm.
