Types of Care for Children in Ann Arbor

When it comes to meeting your child’s health needs, you want someone you can trust. The caregivers and nurses at BrightStar® Home Care Ann Arbor understand the unique requirements of children and the concerns of their families. Our compassionate professionals provide the type of care your child needs, for the length of time it’s necessary.

Duration of Care

Whether your child has a chronic condition, short-term disability or temporary need for in-home support, BrightStar Home Care Ann Arbor can provide assistance for any length of time, including long-term care up to 24/7 hourly.

Or perhaps you need someone to sit with your child or provide assistance with daily activities so you can tend to work or family responsibilities, participate in activities with your other children or need some self-care. Our staff can provide this respite (or ad hoc) care on an hourly basis or to meet other short-term needs.

BrightStar Home Care Ann Arbor supports families with children who have recently been discharged from the hospital, or are recovering from an injury or illness. We can also help parents and children learn how to use new equipment (a home infusion pump, hearing aids, crutches, etc.).

Types of Care

As your child’s needs change, the service we provide evolves along with them. Companion Care provides basic support such as basic homework supervision, participating in activities like puzzles and spending time with your child — including those with Special Needs — when you have other responsibilities.

Our Personal Care services include assistance with feeding, bathing, mobility and other tasks that your child is currently unable to completely do for themselves, while Pediatric Skilled Nursing Care provides support for your child’s more complex medical requirements such as in-home infusions.
