Medicare Health Care Open Enrollment Reminder for Baltimore County
The following dates are important to remember if you would like to re-evaluate your health insurance options for 2019.
2019 Open Enrollment for individual health insurance for those under age 65 whether applying on the Maryland exchange or off exchange will take place from November 1st to December 15th.
The effective date for new Enrollment will be January 1st 2019. Please be sure to mark this in your calendar. However, you don't have to wait for November to get here in order to do your research. If you are buying on the exchange, you can browse now.
Be sure to check with your doctors about what they accept. Start now to prevent feeling overwhelmed while in the midst of the holiday season.
Medicare Part D (Prescription Plan) open enrollment runs from October 15th to December 7th.
During this period you are able to join a plan or switch from one Part D plan to another Part D plan.
