Free Family Caregiver Workshops - DEALING with DEMENTIA

Family Caregiver Workshops- Baltimore County Maryland

The Baltimore County Department of Aging with funding from the Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregiving is offering free family caregiver workshops on the topic of DEALING with DEMENTIA.

The workshop and a 300 page Guidebook  are offered at no charge.  Registration is required: Michelle 410 887 1662 or mmaseilles@baltimorecountymd.gov

The focus is on understanding dementia and dealing with problem behaviors. The need for self-care and handling stress will also be covered.

There are five dates and locations:
Sat. October 20, 9am-1pm, Arbutus Senior Center, ARBUTUS
Thur. November 8, 9am-1pm, Atease Senior Center, DUNDALK
Tues. November 27, 12-4pm, Pikesville Senior Center, PIKESVILLE
Sat. December 1, 9:15am-1:15 pm, Hereford Public Library
Wed. December 5, 12-4pm, Parkville Senior Center, PARKVILLE
