Providing RN oversight on every case from day one
Jennifer Burg, BSN, RN
How long have you been a Nurse?
I have been a Registered Nurse for over 8 years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of West Florida with honors.
What experience do you bring to BrightStar Care®?
I have had the opportunity throughout my career to work at top level facilities providing high quality care to all ages. The majority of my nursing background is in Pediatrics. I worked at a Level 1 Trauma Pediatric Hospital in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for several years. I was then recruited to the Heart Transplant Team where I worked as a Pediatric Heart Transplant Coordinator. While at All Children’s Hospital, I served on multiple committee’s to bring the highest quality care possible to our young patients. I currently serve on the Clinical Quality Advisory Committee as well as the Technology Sub-Committee for BrightStar Care.
What aspect of your job are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about providing the best care and personalized attention that all of our clients and their families need and deserve. Client safety and quality of care are my number one priorities.
I provide A Higher Standard of Care for our BrightStar Care® clients by…
Providing a higher standard starts with hiring healthcare providers that meet or exceed my personal standards (This is hard to meet!). I have always treated my clients like they are a part of my family because I know this is how they will receive the best care from me. I want to make sure our clients are being cared for in this way; like family.
