Compassion, integrity, family, excellence, trustworthiness, accountability, and diversity

Our Office Staff

Nicole: Director of Human Resources, Scheduling and Operations

I have worked for BrightStar for over three years now, starting part-time as a CNA and then in the office. I decided to go into the healthcare field when I was first diagnosed with cancer when I was in college. While receiving treatment I had some of the best care and some of the worst, which made me realize that I wanted to help patients and families get through similar situations as mine. I now work for BrightStar as the Director of Human Resources, Operations and Scheduling, to provide over-the-top care to each and every client we serve. My passion has been achieved by seeing our clients’ smiles, listening to their voices and knowing that we as a team have helped them remain in their homes and keep their independence.

Rhonda: Assistant Director of Human Resources, Scheduling and Operations

Originally, I started working for BrightStar two-and-a-half years ago as a CNA in the field. Shortly thereafter I was given the opportunity to work in the office. I love interacting with the clients one on one, being personable with them and providing the care they deserve. Time will tell what my future holds with BrightStar, as I continue my education to become an RN.

Mary: Service Coordinator

I have had the opportunity to work for BrightStar as a CNA helping our patients through their recovery from multiple illnesses and injuries as well as making them comfortable through the final days of their lives and helping their families cope with the pain of their loss. I have been touched by the strength I see in my patients and their families and this has forever changed me. In these last few months I have had the opportunity to work in the office and see things operate from the inside. It is especially gratifying when we are able to match a patient with a caregiver who is able to assist them, not just with their activities of daily living (ADLs), but as companions as well, making their lives just a little bit easier.

Diane: Intake Coordinator

I have been a part of the BrightStar team for six months. My interest in the company originates from my experience as caregiver for my mother in our home. My ability to provide first response to clients is empathy-based, supported with education and work experience. My undergraduate degree is in Human Development, my Master’s Degree is in Educational Counseling, expanded by specialized training in crisis intervention, and I am also a paralegal. My prior work experience includes director of a youth serving agency, school counselor, and crisis counselor. I appreciate the opportunity to be part of a team that makes it possible for people to achieve the quality of life they desire.

Community Relations

Randy: Director, Partner

I am a Colorado native, with a Business degree from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Colorado. I spent nearly 30 years in the Telecommunications and Information Technologies industries and was an executive in Marketing, Sales, Product Management, Business Development and Operations. Growing up, I worked for my grandparents on their Kansas farm and came to admire their big hearts, work ethic and simple yet purposeful lives. I have a heart for serving seniors, the desire to honor them each day and to help them live their lives in the most meaningful and fulfilling ways possible. This is why I work at BrightStar.

Sue: Director

I was born in Colorado and grew up on a dairy farm. After graduating from Colorado University with a degree in Psychology, I spent over 20 years working with people with developmental disabilities in a variety of settings. About five years ago I had the opportunity to transition to working primarily with seniors, providing in-home care based on individual needs. I am now Community Relations Director with BrightStar. I thoroughly enjoy working here because I'm part of a team that has a common goal of providing the highest quality service to our clients.
