The POC includes the client’s medical history and medications and serves as a guideline the staff follows when caring for the client. Rick and Amy carefully screen their employees, Background and Drugs, and with the help of their Director of Nursing, Melanie and Office Manager, Barbara make sure that each client and caregiver are perfectly matched. This is no easy task. It is refreshing to know that regardless of the time, day or night, that Rick, Amy, Melanie, and Barbara are available should we need them for anything. Each member of our staff are given their contact numbers and are strongly encouraged to call them should we need to. Not many agencies can boast they have an on call nurse to answer 24 hours a day nor can they say that they have an office manager that will jump over hoops and basically turn the water into wine to make sure that not only the patients are taken care of but also their employees. Barbara understands the importance of family and will work tirelessly to make sure that we can have the time off that they need for ourselves and or with our-loved ones. I tease Barbara occasionally because she will call sometimes during our shifts to see if everything is okay. I ask her if she is a silent investigator. Chuckle She isn't. That's just Barbara!!! She calls a lot of time on her off time to see how a patient is or how I am and if there is anything she can do to make our situation better. In fact Barbara calls on her on time and never tells the office staff. She doesn't want to toot her own horn. She helps to run this business as if it were her own. Knowing, Rick and Amy they not only recognizes what a great team they they working with them with Melanie and Barbara but appreciate it. Bottom line is that Rick, Amy, Melanie, and Barbara, are committed to making a difference in Healthcare services. I am honored and blessed to work with such a great group of people. Rick and Amy are so down to earth and have the knowledge, education, ability,staff, and compassion to provide the Chattanooga area with the best Healthcare services provided in our area. I also wanted to tell you that Casey was very nice and attentive to my father especially since his Hospice of Chattanooga nurse came by. Casey stepped in and cleaned up my Dad with the nurse and after the nurse left. I really did appreciate her willingness to assist with my Dad's care.
