Remembering Our Patriots

September 11, 2019
The greater Delray Beach, Boca Raton, and Boynton Beach area is home to many New York natives who have migrated, or their family members. While 9/11 was personal for many individuals, it truly “hit home” for all New Yorkers.

18 years ago our lives were changed forever; 18 years ago 246 people went to sleep in preparation for their morning flights; and 2,606 people went to sleep in preparation for work in the morning. 343 firefighters went to sleep in preparation for their morning shift, 60 police officers went to sleep in preparation for morning patrol, and 8 paramedics went to sleep in preparation for the morning shift. All unaware that they would never return home. It was not too soon after that many made the decision to ship out overseas and protect our nation, knowing their families would also have to sacrifice. Today we promise to remember the innocent, and the brave.

The days of War may be long over for many of our clients... but today, National Day of Service and Rememberance, celebrates them, too! Today we highlight all the brave and strong individuals who built the foundation that we as Americans continue to stand on, to this day! We at BrightStar Care® of Delray Beach are especially thankful to our own Veterans; Jesus Adaniel, Owner; Glenys Cochran, Clinical Liaison; and Shantyka Crutchfield, Administrative Assistant. We know that providing a higher standard of care requires sacrifice and dedication, and we committed to serving you, even in the toughest of times with our five core values: Being open and positive, Serving with passion, Doing the right thing, Doing what we say, and Making it great! That’s why BrightStar Care of Delray Beach® is always available and able to be reached 24/7 at 561.921.0550.
