Nichole Hale

BSN, RN, MBA, OCN

How long have you been a nurse?

I’ve been a nurse for nearly 15 years, with most of that time spent in Oncology and have had the opportunity to work in almost every healthcare setting.  I actually began my career in healthcare as the practice manager for a private practice.  I then went on to pursue nursing.

What expertise and experience do you bring to BrightStar Care?

As a CNA I worked in long-term care, assisted living, and home care.  After finishing nursing school, I got a job at hospital where I became a Charge Nurse and Nurse Preceptor. In addition to those roles, I have worked as an inpatient Nurse Supervisor, Nurse Navigator, Outpatient Infusion Nurse, and Clinical Nurse Coordinator.

What part of your job are you most passionate about?

I love that home care allows me the opportunity to spend more time with clients on a one-on-one basis.  Patient education is a passion of mine, and this position provides me with so many opportunities to do that! I am also passionate about servant leadership and a big part of this role is ensuring that our nurses and caregivers have what they need to succeed in providing our clients the highest quality of care.

What are three unique strengths you bring to BrightStar Care?

  • I am a team player and wouldn’t ask anyone to do anything that I wouldn’t do myself.
  • My experience as a home health aide truly allow me to understand the challenges that our caregivers face, with that I am better able to listen to their concerns and mentor them effectively.
  • I am flexible and multitask with ease, which is imperative in the home care setting.
