Susan Nimnuan, Vice President

Susan, born in Florida, has enjoyed living in Maryland and Michigan before returning back to Florida.  She graduated from Western Michigan University with a dual bachelors in Business Management and Criminal Justice where she planned on attending the FBI following in her father’s foot steps of the Secret Service. Instead, she followed her grandfather’s path of medicine and has worked in radiology before being attracted to BrightStar Care and the In Home Care Industry. Susan is an active member of C-12 Group, a faith-based organization which provides spiritual framework to operating successful businesses . She is an active member of the Parkinson’s Association and sits on various BrightStar management committees. Her passion, drive and knowledge of the industry affords Susan the opportunity to offer a Higher Standard of Care to her clients and community. As well to be the voice of seniors to help instill and promote change in health care policies, locally and on a national level as seen by her tireless efforts of educating and petitioning government officials to be approved to  provide Covid vaccines to those who were home bound as well as our veterans .  During her limited down time, Susan enjoys spending time with her husband and her two canine sons Riley and Ralphie .

Tracy Brady, CDP - Executive Director of Business Development

Tracy brings close to two decades of experience in working with seniors to her role with BrightStar Care. She started her career in an Assisted Living Facility, in Newtown Connecticut, as Activities Director. In this role, Tracy was directly responsible for designing, instituting, and managing a wide range of recreational programs. These services were implemented to restore and advance the quality of life of all residents in both the Dementia and Assisted Living sectors. Tracy spent over 7 years as an Executive Director of Business Development and Community Relations where she served as the key contact between Home Health and local senior facilities, medical centers, and area hospitals.
Tracy has relocated from Connecticut and enjoys spending time with her mother and 100 year old grandmother in her spare time.  She is blessed with two children who are currently attending Medical School and Law School and dogsitting her “grand” dog which makes her life complete.
She serves on several organizational boards, which are centered around enriching the quality of life of local seniors in the community. She is currently certified by the Alzheimer's Association as an instructor for Specialized Dementia Care and Education and has attained a CDP certification, which is a testament to her personal commitment to those suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia challenges.

"I had always felt that the senior populations was unintentionally overlooked as they made their journey through the aging process.  For the last 20 years it has been an honor to not only comfort and care for them, but to provided them with purposeful engagement and education to ensure they have the necessary information to  be able to make informed decisions".
Tracy Brady, CDP, Executive Director of Business Development

Michael Julian, RN - Director of Nursing for Skilled Care

Ellen Huyser, RN - Director of Nursing for Personal Care

Cary Rodriguez, LPN - Case Manager

Cary is a Florida native who relocated to SW Florida from the East Coast. She is an LPN with a passion for seniors. Starting her career as an OB/GYN nurse, she quickly found her love for senior care as a home health wound care nurse. She has been an LPN for more than 12 years and has worked with the senior population, not only with patient care, but also SNF, LTAC and long-term care placement. When she is not working with our senior population, she is spending time with her family, which includes 3 dogs. She loves the beach and a good book.

"I have been with BrightStar Care for over 3 years as Case Manager. What makes BrightStar such an amazing place to work is the commitment the staff has to provide the best care to our clients and employees. Both office and field staff serve our seniors with passion and I am proud to work for BrightStar Care".

Riley Nimnuan, Director of Food Inspection

Riley Bear Joseph Nimnuan, a 10 year old Morkie, is a former resident of Michigan, where he was rescued at the age of 3 ½ months from an unfathomable situation. Riley is the company’s Director of Food Inspection, and feels food is only enjoyed with accompanying condiments, he possesses a discriminating palate.  When he is not scouting out lunches in the office, he enjoys swimming but only if the water is prepped at 80+ degrees, loves playing fetch, and is devoted to his girlfriend Teddy, his daddy and mom – in that order. Riley is full of love, smiles and an occasional growl if condiments can not be found.
Riley currently prefers working ½ days as he is in semi-retirement. He strongly believes in more of a life of leisure

Ralphie Nimnuan, Director of Desk Inspection

Born Ralphie Bear John Nimnuan, named after a Christmas Story – you’ll shoot your eye out!-  is a purebred Morkie, was raised in Ft. Myers and was the largest in his litter. This big boy is our Director of Desk Inspection, although is creeping into his brother’s role of Food Inspection as he loves food, especially his grandpa’s spice Thai dishes. Ralphie hates care rides unless he’s coming to work or going to grandma’s house.  He thoroughly enjoys inspecting all staff member’s desks, numerous times a day, and will help himself to a nap on one if the feeling strikes him. Ralphie likes to be at eye level will all the he comes in contact with, thus making him extremely efficient at work and home. When he is not at work, Ralphie likes to relax in his personal boat in his pool, and needs to work for income to sustain his life of luxury. Although Ralphie is his mother’s best friend and confidant, he would prefer to go to work with his Daddy.

Maple Julian, Director of Pet Therapy

Born in Alabama, Maple is an Australian Shepard pure bred and is 6th generation with 5 brothers and sisters. Maple came to live with her humans 6 years ago, and has brought an immeasurable amount of unconditional love to her family and our office .
When she is not offering love and comfort in her Pet Therapy role she adores herding chickens, chasing rabbits, wild turkeys, bears and raccoons. She loves children and playing fetch, but not as much as eating peanut butter and cuddling with her mom on their recliner. Maple is not a fan of the rain as it does not afford her a good hair day.

Millie, Brady-Fahan, Director of Security

Millie Brady Fahan was born in Texas and spent her formidable years in a Texas Shelter which prepared her for her role as Director of Security. Millie was rescued by her parents in Texas and moved to Florida where her dad is stationed with the Navy.  Millie has learned what love and commitment means and is overly protective to anyone she deems is a worthy human. Millie is small but fierce, at 14 lbs this 4 year old mix of Pomeranian/Chihuahua ensures the safety of all human and canine staff members in the BrightStar Care office. When not on patrol at work, Millie supervises her Gigi’s complex where she is staying until her daddy returns from deployment and Mommy finishes her medical rotations. Millie enjoys her best friends Rufus and Lambie, who both look like they could benefit from a spa day and also loves going for walks, where she sniffs and inspects each blade of grass, soaking in the sun and eating ice cream before bed. Millie is living her best life and has the most fabulous “Fur”ever home.  Her favorite quote is “You can’t buy love, but you can rescue it!”

Teddy Rodriguez, Director of Love & Kisses

Teddy Rodriquez, affectionately known as Teddy Bear, is our Director of Love and Kisses. He is a 4 year old 4 lb., fully loaded bundle of love and joy, Morkie style. Teddy comes to us from Miami and possesses the most adorable Cuban accent bark. Teddy started out as coordinator of pet therapy but quickly grew through the ranks and was promoted to Director of Love and Kisses. In this new role, Teddy generously provides extra love and wet kisses to anyone who is in need, and although his tongue is tiny it is filled with a warmth that showers us with love. He won’t say no to a treat should you have one, and does not discriminate if it does not come with a condiment.  In his spare time Teddy enjoys eating blueberries with his sister Lilah and having his belly rubbed.
