Alzheimer's Awareness

Help Eliminate Alzheimer's Disease in Montgomery County

Support the Alzheimer's Association® National Capital Area Chapter

Help eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research.  The Alzheimer's Association® provides support for all affected; and they help reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.  The Alzheimer's Association® is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research.

As part of November's Alzheimer's Awareness Month we recognize the National Capital Area Chapter Alzheimer's Association for providing help and hope to people with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and their families and caregivers in the District of Columbia, five counties in suburban and Southern Maryland and eleven counties in Northern Virginia. For more than 35 years, the National Capital Area Chapter has provided reliable information, care consultation and have created supportive services for families; increased funding for dementia research; and influenced changes in public policy.

In recognition of the National Capital Area Chapter, BrightStar Care supports their important efforts in our community and we encourage anyone needing support and information on Alzheimer's's and Dementia to visit their website here: https://montgomerycountymd.galaxydigital.com/agency/detail/?agency_id=75879
