Hi, I am Erin Keough the Director of Nursing for Brightstar Care of Greater Chester County. I have been in nursing for over 30 years, starting my career as a nursing assistant, and while doing that, gaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Villanova University. I have worked as a nurse for 28 years predominately in Long Term Care, and with Veterans. I have also been a state inspector and an abuse investigator in the Greater Chester County Area. I came to Brightstar Care of Greater Chester County in 2020 when we first opened our doors. I personally believe that nursing is a vocation not a profession and am devoted to caring for the whole individual both physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually if needed. Be passionate and devoted to what you do are my motos.

On a personal note, I grew up in Connecticut but have settled and lived in the Downingtown area for 20 years. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my husband, and two teenage boys, watching all the local sports teams. I played basketball for 15 years but these days you can find me mostly watching my youngest son playing baseball. I have way too many hobbies to count but really enjoying reading, cooking, spending time at the New Jersey shore, and gardening. I am a frustrated writer and hope one day to start a blog filled with my words of wisdom, fun stories, and advice on life.

Born and raised in Germany, moved to the US in 2005.
Used to be a Volunteer Fire Fighter for 12 years, in Germany.
Member of a Gun-Shooting Club.
Love to Waterski, Travel, and Hike.
Best way to my spend time is a glass of Wine with Friends and Family and good conversations.

Riley is our furry friend that is always in the office with us! She loves to play and visit everyone at their desks to say hello. She is always at the door to greet anyone who comes by!
