Hi all! My name is Bailea Quintana, and I am the VA RN Case Manager at BrightStar Care of Northern Colorado. I have been with the company for over a year and have loved every minute of it while being able to help our Veterans by being a resource for them. I presently have my Bachelors of Science in Nursing and I am going back to school for my Masters of Nursing as well. I am originally from Texas where I lived most of my life and went to nursing school prior to travel nursing and traveling to Colorado. I decided to move to Fort Collins, CO, and have since transitioned to Greeley, CO. I look forward to continuing working with our VA clients and community.

Hello, my name is Brandy, and I am the Office Coordinator. I have lived here in Colorado since 2021. Before moving here, I lived in the Pacific Northwest for 13 years. The majority of that time was in the Puget Sound area of Washington state. I have a 5-year-old son and we enjoy taking walks and playing at parks. Most of my working career has been in the medical field including long term care, post op care, telemetry units, and wound care. I also worked a couple years as a 911 call receiver. I am really proud to be a part of the BrightStar Care Team and work alongside incredible people.

My name is Cassie Cline, and I am a VA RN Case Manager that works out of our Boulder/Broomfield office. I am new to Brightstar but come ready to help assist the Veterans in our community! I obtained my nursing license in June of 2023 and graduated in December of 2023 with my bachelor’s in nursing from UNC. Helping people has always been a passion of mine, and becoming a nurse allows me to fulfill that passion while making a positive impact in the lives of my patients. As a VA nurse case manager, I work closely with veterans to coordinate their care and develop tailored care plans. I am proud to be a part of an organization that believes in providing the exceptional care that Veterans have earned.

My name is Shannon Wilson, and I am a Customer Care Specialist for Brightstar Care of Northern Colorado. I have always had a passion for healthcare. I started working for Brightstar in 2021 as a CNA and was thrilled to be given the opportunity in November 2023 to grow my career in an office position. I was born and raised in Fort Collins, but have since moved out to the small town of Briggsdale. I enjoy spending time outdoors and gardening in the summertime. I look forward to the years to come as a part of the Brightstar family.

My name is Ellen Whiteley, and I am a Registered Nurse Case Manager specializing in the Boulder/Broomfield area. I have been with this franchise for nearly a year, and have loved having the opportunity to live, learn, and grow in the shadow of the Rockies. I obtained my Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Colorado College of Nursing in 2020 and spent 2 years working in Labor and Delivery at UChealth in Aurora, before deciding to make a change and switched to Home Health. BrightStar Care has been an extraordinary place to learn and grow, and I'm so grateful to our staff, employees, and clients for making this journey into Home Health such a validating and stimulating experience!

Hello everyone. My name is Amira Borghese, and I am one of two Sales Specialists here at BrightStar of Northern Colorado. I have been with the company since December of 2023. Before joining Bright Star, I was in the Senior Living industry. In my past life, although born and raised in the Seattle area, my career has taken me all over the world and the United States. (Social Services Case Manager, Business Consultant, Operations Manager, Flagship Manager, Account Executive) I finally planted roots in Colorado in 2018 to be near my family. I cherish my off time with my family and two dogs, traveling, meeting new people, visiting new places, cooking, music, theatre, and being out or on the water.

Hello! My name is Bryanna Smith, and I have graciously been part of the BrightStar Care of Northern Colorado team since the beginning of May 2022. I was born and raised in Colorado Springs before making my way home to Fort Collins in 2012 and falling even more in love with our beautiful state! Working in community and sales development, I am passionate about providing support throughout Northern Colorado, for all ages and stages of life to have access to the home healthcare resources needed to enhance their well-being and maintain their independence. When I am not at work though, I am spending time with my significant other (Eric) and our three dogs (Ladybug, Pierre, and Ziggy), tending to my over 100 houseplants, or experiencing live entertainment with friends!

My name is Kim Staunton, and I am an RN Case Manager with BrightStar Care of Northern Colorado.  I have been with this company for a little over a year now.   I graduated nursing school from Otero Junior College in La Junta, CO in 2005, and then obtained my Bachelors in Nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2016.  So, I have been a nurse for 18 years now.  The thing I enjoy most about working with BrightStar Care is the opportunity to get out in the community and work with our clients and their families to help them make it possible to provide care to their loved ones so that they can remain in the comfort of their home as long as possible.  Bringing them the joy of living life to their fullest in the place they love most is a very rewarding outcome.

My name is Kenna Davis-Shubert and I am the Director of Business Operations for BrightStar Care of Northern Colorado. I have been with this franchise for two years and have loved the opportunity to provide a higher standard of care to our community. I obtained my Bachelors in Business Administration from University of Northern Colorado in 2019 and soon after joined the BrightStar Care family! I had always strived to have a career in the health care industry after witnessing my grandma endure Alzheimer's at a young age. Being a part of this outstanding organization allows me to continue to see the positive effect of home care that it once had on my family!

I am Brandon, the Skilled Intake Specialist at BrightStar Care of Northern Colorado and have been with BrightStar since 2022. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Northern Colorado in 2017 and have worked in health care since 2012. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and currently live in Greeley with my wife, two kids, and many pets! When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, woodworking, and spending time with my family.

My name is Dawn. I have happily been a nurse since 2007! My current position is Director of Clinical Operations, which I absolutely love! Although, I do miss patient care. I have 3 kids; boy/girl/boy that are 30, 28, and 26. I also have one grandson who will be 4 on April Fool’s Day! In my spare time I watch my grandson so my daughter can work overnight bailer shifts over the weekend. Also, I like to do remodeling projects around the house.

My name is Shantay Marcos and I am the Vice President of BrightStar Care of Northern Colorado. I began my journey with BrightStar Care in December of 2019 as the Director of Nursing. I became an RN in 2017 and have loved every minute of it. I started my health care journey as a CNA at a young age in home care which started my passion for what we do here. After working as a nurse in acute settings I realized that I missed the personal connection that home care can bring. I enjoy being able to support our staff to provide exceptional care while keeping organizational procedures at the highest standards. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three young kids. I am an avid runner and will pick up almost any book for fun. I look forward to many more years of serving our community with BrightStar Care.

Chris has been a resident of Northern Colorado since December of 2018 when his family moved from Southern California. He has started several businesses over the years, but it is being the owner at BrightStar Care of Northern Colorado that has been the most fulfilling. When he was in high school, his 90-year-old grandmother moved in with his family and his mother became her fulltime caretaker. Through the next couple years, he witnessed firsthand the improved quality of life home care brought to his grandmother’s life during her later years. It was this experience that led Chris to pursue an opportunity in home health care and it is BrightStar's commitment to providing the highest standard of personal and skilled care that led him to offer this unparalleled care to our community. When Chris is not working in the business, he enjoys spending time with his children, Brooke, Luke and Molly.
