Congrats to Cherale, Our Caregiver of the Month!

April 1, 2017
We appreciate all our Brightstar caregivers, but each month we recognize one in a special way. Cherale Powell is from Lenoir, North Carolina and attended Wilkes Community College in nearby Wilkesboro.   She was an accomplished college basketball player and moved to South Carolina when she was recruited to play for USC Upstate. After graduation in 2009, Cherale became a caregiver because she loves to work with seniors whom she describes as “easy to talk to” and says she appreciates their wisdom. “I also like doing work that makes a difference, both for the client and the client’s family”, Cherale said.  The daughter of a client wrote to us and said:

Cherale has taken marvelous care of my mother and then my father for many years.  Although we have an amazing BrightStar team,  Cherale shines as one of the brightest lights in that group.  Through the years, her unerring dedication has shown through time and time again in her reliability, her willingness to “go the extra mile” when needed, and her determination to voice any concerns about changes in condition or behavior that she believes warrant further attention. Cherale brings all this with grace and professionalism.  Simply put, Cherale is WONDERFUL!

We’re grateful that she joined our team. Cherale Powell is our March Brightstar Greenville Caregiver of the Month!
