Our CNAs are trained in the transfer of patients using Hoyer lifts and slide boards, and use the proper techniques to help patients avoid injuries and falls during transport.
Quality Care for Short-Term Disability
In addition to caring for those with congenital conditions (those they’re born with) or permanent disabilities, we also offer support to the large number of Americans who experience a short-term disability each year.
This may include recovery from a severe illness or injury, pregnancy complications, post-surgical care or even long COVID. The Department of Health and Human Services determined that long COVID can be a disability under the ADA (Section 504 and Section 1557) if it substantially limits one or more major life activities.
