About Gerald ‘Jerry’ J. Wilmink Ph.D MBA
Jerry is an American health entrepreneur, biomedical engineer, inventor, and keynote speaker. Jerry presently serves as the Chief Business Officer of CarePredict, leading digital health company that develops predictive senior health technologies. Previously he founded several technology companies. Jerry co-chairs Consumer Technology Association’s (CTA) new initiative on AI in consumer health, fitness & wellness technology. He has penned several patents, published over 50 technical manuscripts, and delivered over 150 presentations at leading business and technical conferences. Jerry earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Objectives and Agenda:
- Understand fundamental, global challenges that caregivers face to provide high quality senior care.
- Review both conventional and state-of-the-art technologies that caregivers can leverage for seniors to age in place.
- How smart wearables and artificial intelligence (AI) platforms can be used to continuously, and passively measure a senior’s activity and
- behavior patterns.
- Understand how marked changes in a senior’s activity and behavior patterns can provide the earliest signs of a health decline.
