Eleonora Minevich, Director of Marketing
Eleonora was born in Kiev, Ukraine and immigrated to America with her family when she was 8 years old. Her parents wanted to give her and her sister a better life with opportunities that did not exist in Ukraine. Growing up, she saw how hard her parents worked to build a better future for their family.
“My Father came to this county with a wife and two young children. He could not speak the language and had no idea how he was going to support his family,” Eleonora says. “I saw how hard he worked, and the sacrifices he had to make, and as a result, I watched him grow into a successful entrepreneur, he has always inspired me.”
Eleonora has served as a member on the Alzheimer Association Committee where she helped to raise funds, raise awareness and increase participation for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. She also served as a member on the Planning Committee to help promote an annual fundraiser for a local, nonprofit Hospice organization.
Eleonora was also a Gilchrist hospice volunteer, visiting patients who were receiving end of life hospice services. “It felt wonderful to give back and visit people who were on hospice. As a hospice volunteer, I was able to get to know each patient by talking to them and listen to stories about their families and their lives. I read poems to them, we took walks outside and listened to music together. It was a very enriching experience,” said Eleonora.
“I enjoy meeting with families and being a resource to them. Helping them navigate the process of setting up care for their family members and putting them at ease. It’s a great feeling knowing that our support services give families a peace of mind while knowing that their loved ones are in good hands.”
Eleonora lives in Baltimore County with her husband Max Minevich, their children Eva and Michael, and a brindle Bull Terrier named Kobe.
