The Joint Commission is a nationally recognized healthcare quality standards organization that also accredits the nation’s best hospitals and other major health care systems. 

When a BrightStar Home Care office earns The Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval^®, it means that they have undergone a detailed on-site review by a Joint Commission quality expert who asserts that the location is following BrightStar Care policies and procedures, state licensure and Joint Commission requirements.

BrightStar Home Care is the only organization to achieve this title 10 years in a row, with over 95% of our franchisees being Joint Commission accredited. We are one of only two franchisors to receive this honor since the award’s inception in 2013.

The Provider of Choice Award is granted only to top-ranking home care providers, based on client satisfaction scores gathered by Home Care Pulse, an independent satisfaction research firm for home care. Home care providers recognized are among a select few across the country who have proven their ability to provide outstanding care. 

This award is based on caregiver satisfaction ratings. The home care providers who earn this award consistently exceed the industry standards for employee satisfaction. The Leader in Experience Award is awarded by Home Care Pulse and is given to select home care businesses that consistently rank among the very highest in 10 or more quality metrics. Home care providers recognized as a Leader in Experience, are among the top 10% of home care providers participating in the nationwide HCP Experience Management Program. 

This award recognizes home care agencies that provide specialized care for clients and career growth for caregivers through a commitment to continuous learning. Recipients of this award prioritize training for their staff, leading to more skilled, engaged caregivers. Leaders in Training must achieve both a high level of staff participation and education for each staff member. They represent the top 25% of providers participating in Home Care Pulse’s Training program.
 

This award is the highest honor a home care provider can earn from Home Care Pulse. Only the 100 home care providers with the highest overall satisfaction ratings in North America receive this award. These home care providers have proven that they provide quality care in nearly every satisfaction category measured by Home Care Pulse.
