Hurricane Ian was the deadliest hurricane to strike the state of Florida since 1935 and caused widespread damage especially on the Gulf Coast.
From this dark event has come incredible stories of heroism of BrightStar caregivers who delivered needed care during the most dire times.
From caregivers and nurses working upwards of 85 hours straight to ensure their clients were safe and cared for during the storm, to still taking on new clients who needed new services, these caregivers exemplify our values of delivering a truly higher standard of care even during the most difficult circumstances.
I am humbled at the heroism and dedication displayed by these caregivers and am proud to be associated with them through BrightStar Care. BrightStar Care has started a GoFundMe campaign to help these folks, some of whom lost homes, cars, clothes…. everything. We have a total donation goal of $25,000. Let’s rally and help these healthcare heroes get back on their feet.
