As one of the major sponsors of the 2017 Family Health and Wellness Expo, BrightStar Care® of La Grange joined over 35 local health and wellness experts along with celebrities and local chefs on February 4th to inform attendees about our services.
This is the third year being on the committee for Linda Kunicki, our BrightStar Liaison, who has been contributing to the success of this community event with her special skills. Our booth focused on American Heart Month as our theme.
New this year were special appearances and photo opportunities with the Hernandez Brothers, the winners of NBC's "The Biggest Loser - Season 17," The Houlihan Sisters Children's Storybook Author and Illustrator; healthy cooking demonstrations by Chef Nancy Nolan of Prasino in La Grange and Chef/Owner Emilio Gervilla of Emilio's Tapas Restaurant in Hillside; and LUCY Activewear Fashion Show for girls and women.
