The Westchester Aging Well Team is welcoming Linda Kunicki to present POWER OF THE PAW! Join them on March 25th!
Linda does community relations for Brightstar Care of La Grange and has been a dog show handler of Champion Shelties since 1985. She will present information on how dogs and pets of all kinds have become increasingly common in the treatment of individuals with dementia related conditions, PTSD and other disorders. She will also explain how interacting with animals can keep older adults active and engaged. Special visitors Penny and her certified therapy dog Sheltie, Tess will be joining Westchester Aging Well Team too that day.
