Babli Duttasarma | Operations Manager
Babli Duttasarma started her career in banking, eventually transitioning into a career in home health care in 1995 with All Care Services. She moved on to work for ResCare and earned the position as Branch Manager. Babli has been with BrightStar Care since 2015 as our Operations Manager, in which she manages our client services and is the principal person in charge of scheduling. In her free time, Babli stays active and fit with Zumba and Pilates and volunteers at a local vineyard. She enjoys spending quality time with her two daughters, Mithia and Katja, and three granddaughters, Annika, Sophia, and Maya.
Robert J. Funk | Finance & Operations Manager
Robert "Bob" J. Funk has been in finance for eight years. He began his career as an Agent with New York Life in 2012. In 2013, he passed the FINRA Series 6 & 63 exams which enabled him to help people with both insurance and investment matters. Then in 2017, he passed the FINRA Series 65 and became a Financial Advisor specializing in retirement planning. Bob understands how Long Term Care policies work, which gives him an edge in the home health care industry. He works directly with insurance companies to provide the documentation they need to pay claims in a timely matter, and he advises our clients with understanding the policy that they have. His passion for helping others is the reason why he came to BrightStar in 2019. In his free time, Bob enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, and hiking.
Tracy R. Tanouye | Finance Associate
Tracy R. Tanouye directly assists the Finance & Operations Manager. She holds her Associate of Applied Science degree in Commercial Photography. With 6 years of administrative accounting experience in a variety of industries under her belt, she shifted her focus from photography to office administration, learning along the way how to adapt to change and identify what she needs to create her ideal career environment. She is driven to advance her career in finance, and values teamwork and building strong relationships with clients and coworkers. Tracy's commitment to action is reflected in what she likes to do outside of work, which is weight lifting, hiking, going to the beach, and exploring Southern California's hidden nature spots.
Kelsey R. Repik | Recruitment & Human Resources Administrator
Kelsey R. Repik is responsible for recruiting the best talent to work for us. By promoting BrightStar within the community as an employer of choice, we are able to maintain a pool of qualified filed staff for our clients. Kelsey graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Healthcare Administration. She is currently on track to graduate with a Master's degree in Health Administration and Human Resources. She began her career in healthcare as a CNA and eventually moved into administrative roles as her education expanded. Passionate about the healthcare field, Kelsey often picks up caregiving shifts to work with our BrightStar clients. In her free time, Kelsey enjoys going to Disneyland, traveling, and playing with her dog, Taco.
Niquey G. Bambrook, CTSM | Sales & Marketing Manager
Niquey G. Bambrook works closely with Claire to develop new business initiatives and to nurture our client care relationships. After graduating from the University of California Santa Barbara in 2007, Niquey began her career in marketing with a Fortune 500 company. For ten years she worked her way up the corporate ladder, continuing to grow professionally and eventually earning her designation as a Certified Trade Show Marketer. Her expertise lies in producing networking events that drive revenue. After a short career break to travel overseas with her husband and daughter, Niquey returned to the workforce with a desire to use her skill set in a new industry and to work for a company with high integrity. This led her to BrightStar Care.
