    Director of Personal Care Services
    After caring for my parents in their elder years, I felt a calling to obtain my CNA License. After spending many years in the field providing clients with hands-on care through another home care agency, I was hired as the Operations Manager of BrightStar Care in 2018. During my time at BrightStar, I have led a team of amazing women and assisted in the growth of our business to multiple territories in Northern Virginia. My passion for the elderly aging in place is why I do what I do. I have two beautiful daughters and enjoy spending my time outdoors. When I am not in the office, you can find me in the mountains camping, kayaking, and enjoying the wilderness.

  • Tamara Sleeman

    Director of Nursing Operations
    After trying my hand at many different careers, the one thing I enjoyed most was helping others in need. This started at Lake Manassas Rehab, where I worked as a staff scheduler and administrative assistant. This allowed me to gain an understanding of how healthcare works and how important it is to provide exceptional care to those in need. After starting at Brightstar Care in 2019 as a CNA, I began to learn more about in-home care; fast forward a few years and I now oversee the entire Skilled Nursing Department. The ability to match those in need with a nurse that fits their needs is what I enjoy most about my position. My focus at Brightstar Care is making sure that every client has an enjoyable experience, and their needs are fully met. When I am not in the office, I can be found spending time with my husband, three children, and our three dogs.

    Director of Medical Staffing Operations
    After graduating from George Mason university with a degree in Community Health, I worked in various healthcare settings for 12 years until I found BrightStar Care in 2020. I now manage the Medical Staffing department, where I help medical facilities fufill their staffing needs. With the national healthcare shortage, I find much joy being able to hire staff and help the facilities when they are understaffed. When I am not working, I am enjoying time outdoors, hiking, spending time with my husband and dog, and taking day trips to explore antique stores in small towns.
