Home safety is very important for Silver Springs seniors. Classes are offered via the Life Safety Unit at the Silver Spring Volunteer Fire Department. At this class you will learn important information such as how to prevent falling, fire safety, and how to stay updated with safety checkups around your home. This includes devices such as smoke alarms, and devices that will help the hard of hearing and deaf. This service is provided by the government, to ensure the safety of all Silver Springs seniors.
