Louisville Walk to End Alzheimer's is October 10

September 25, 2020

This year the Walk to End Alzheimer's is everywhere in Louisville!

Louisville may seem a little different right now, but the one thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to helping end Alzheimer's.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. This year, the walk will look different due to the Coronavirus, but the walk is moving forward in 2020 and will be everywhere in Louisville on October 10.

Health and safety are a top priority now, so this year's event won't be a large in-person gathering. Instead, you are invited to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Let's still all walk and fundraise for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

We encourage you to invite family, friends, and colleagues to walk with you. Plan to take a walk in your neighborhood, community, business, school, or at your place of worship.

How to participate: Register a team. A team can consist of one person. Or join a team and plan on walking on October 10 or whatever day and time work for you! Take pictures of your team and your walk. Send the photos to the Alzheimer's Association, and they will be posting pictures on their social media channels.
