Here at BrightStar Care we are passionate about serving our clients and when you work in a home health environment, it’s difficult not to fall in LOVE! Our nurses and caregivers build a special relationship with the adults and kiddos we care for. We support the families through the best and worst times of their loved ones and do it from a place of love.
We believe that we are given the power to love(2 Timothy 1:7) and we put that power into practice through home care. Our team believes that going above and beyond is part of the culture here so we would like to take a moment to show some love back to our team. Here are 5 reasons why we love our team.
They LOVE to have fun.
Our Annual Summer Bash allows our team to connect and celebrate. BrightStar Care president Lonny Kane, hosts and cooks meals for our team and their families. We enjoy the day in the pool, playing yard games but most importantly connecting.
They LOVE to give.
The best way to serve our community is to be a part of our community in every way possible. Through organizations like the Lubbock Challenger Little League, Pediatric Cancer Walk and Ronald McDonal House Charities our team actively participates. They eagerly give their time and resources to South Plains without asking.
They LOVE to learn.
Our commitment to excellence starts with making sure our team has the tools and resources to grow and provide a higher level of scared. We send our team to conferences, and host CEUs/training in our on-site learning classroom. We also encourage our team to share the knowledge and expertise through lunch and learns.
They LOVE their patients
It’s one thing to provide care for patients but to actively participate in their lives. We enjoy seeing our team attend school with our kiddos, take them on activities and one of our favorites images, join them in their halloween costume!
