Survival after a Loved Ones Overdoses

Massachusetts and Worcester county are involved in an unprecedented war being waged on drug and particularly, opioid addiction.  GRuntitledASP is Grief Recovery After a Substance Passing, an organization that is here to help with members who have been there, too. BrightStar Care see our share of people who self medicate and then sometimes become addicted to drugs and alcohol. This is a well known, documented, and sad;ly  increasing statistic among seniors who are often prone to depression after the loss of friends and loved ones they have had in their lives, sometimes for their lifetime. Massachusetts has eleven chapters and the local Worcester chapter is run by Aileen Lovejoy & Deb Dowd-Foley at Our Lady of the Angels Church (The Parish Center), 1222 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603 They meet the 1st Monday of every month from 7:00pm-8:30pm and can be reached at worcestergrasp (508) 755-5041 or (508)248-5622 There are also groups in MetroWest GRASP led by Kathy Leonard at (508) 460-2002 metrowestgrasp First Church in Marlborough, Congregational at 37 High Street, Marlborough, MA 01752 Their meetings held the first Thursdacopy-GRASP-logo-homey of every month from 6:30-8:00. and a north Worcester county chapter at North Central Massachusetts GRASP Group led by Michelle Dunn 978-314-7889 Michelle held the 3rd Tuesday of every month starting, April 21st @ 6:30 pm.
