LaShonda Brown | Branch Manager  LaShonda-Brown.png LaShonda Brown, Branch Manager began her first career at BrightStar Care of Northern Charlotte/Huntersville back in 2012 as the Sales and Marketing Director. LaShonda took on other career adventures but found herself back in the midst of BrightStar Care Spring of 2018 with an operational role as the Branch Manager. LaShonda is a Clinical Social Worker who brings a wealth of knowledge to BrightStar Care including over 12 years of experience in Healthcare, Leadership, and Development, Lean Practices, Discharge Planning, and Geriatric Care to name a few. LaShonda is a South Carolina native. She received her Bachelors in Social Work degree and Gerontology Certificate from Winthrop University. She also received her Masters in Public Administration degree from Strayer University. LaShonda is widowed with one daughter. Her ultimate joy is her energetic passion to serve and help others. In her spare time, she helps other young widows cope with loss and grief. "Coming back to BrightStar Care was one of the best decisions of my life. I've always believed in the excellent care provided. I am happy to be home".

Christina Brown | Director of Nursing Christina-Brown.jpg Christina Brown, Director of Nursing, started her nursing career in 2012 led by inspiration of medical professionals coming into the home to take care of her beloved grandmother. Christina is a Concord Native. She enjoys her soccer mom lifestyle with her three boys ages 12, 10, and 6. She earned her Associates in nursing from Central Piedmont Community college. She is a recent graduate from Capella University where she has received her BSN. Her expertise includes working with adolescents, adults, and seniors with a specialization in behavioral health. "I became a nurse because of my passion to educate, to help, and to serve others." While Christina feels this is just the beginning of her nursing career, she strives off the motto of continuing to grow daily and to always strive to be better than you were the day before.
