  • Meghan Ruff MSN, RN

    Director of Nursing
Meghan has been a nurse for 9 years and has worked in a variety of nursing settings including skilled nursing facility, corrections facility, hospice, home health and neuro/trauma.  Under her leadership in the neuro/trauma unit, they obtained the level 4 trauma and stroke designation and became the “go-to” for stroke and trauma care in the area. She has taken away unique experiences from each of the settings that she has worked in. Hospice care is where she found her heart and remembered what it was to be a NURSE. “Sitting at and washing the feet of a person who has seen almost an entire century will humble you quickly and make you appreciate every single day that is given.” When she graduated with her Masters, she accepted a position with BrightStar Care which she fondly refers to as “her forever family and home”.
She is most passionate about the staff she supervises. She feels that a staff that is well-prepared and given the tools for success with support will, in fact, trickle down to the patient and provide the best care possible, making it great for everyone. She approaches every day with a positive outlook. She believes that while it may not be going the way you wish, YOU can change that with a deep breath and a smile. She looks for the grey in situations. She believes that it is not always black and white. Sometimes, the grey areas contain an issue that needs to be changed. Lastly, she never stops learning.
