Joint Commission Accreditation

The Joint Commission® is the nation's oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care and accredits and certifies more than 22,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. The Gold Seal of Approval® indicates that franchisees have undergone a detailed on-site review and are demonstrating continuous compliance with The Joint Commission's standards, including integrating the standards into agency policies, procedures and training materials. BrightStar Care conducts regular mock evaluations to help its franchisees uphold the standards.

Enterprise Champion for Quality Award

The Enterprise Champion for Quality award recognizes franchisors’ efforts to promote the delivery of high-quality health care services through Joint Commission accreditation for their franchisees. Earning this award indicates that 95 percent of all eligible franchises are accredited and in good standing with The Joint Commission.

Home Care Pulse – Leader in Excellence

Best of Home Care® Leader in Excellence is the highest award a home care provider can earn from Home Care Pulse. Leader in Excellence is awarded based on client and caregiver satisfaction ratings collected by Home Care Pulse in telephone interviews. Leader in Excellence Award winners received high ratings in areas such as caregiver training, compassion of caregivers, communication, scheduling, client/caregiver compatibility, and more.

The Best of Home Care® Employer of Choice award is based on caregiver satisfaction ratings collected via telephone interviews by Home Care Pulse. Providers who have earned this award are best-in-class for caregiver satisfaction. This recognition demonstrates that our caregivers are satisfied and happy with their work.

The Best of Home Care® Provider of Choice award is based on client satisfaction ratings collected from telephone interviews performed by Home Care Pulse. These home care providers are best-in-class for providing quality care to their clients. This recognition assures that the provider is trustworthy and has proven their ability to provide outstanding in-home care services.

Top Franchises

The Franchise Business Review Top Franchises is the most comprehensive list of today’s top franchises based on feedback from over 27,500 franchisees from 307 of today’s leading brands. To determine the Top 200, each survey participant was asked 33 benchmark questions about their franchisor that focused on areas such as leadership, training, and core values as well 16 more personal questions concerning their business lifestyle and overall enjoyment of running their franchise.

Franchise Business Review surveys over 2,500 veteran franchise owners from many of today’s leading franchise brands to determine their list of top franchises for veterans. Each franchise owner is asked 33 benchmark satisfaction questions about their franchise business that focused on areas such as leadership, training & support, core values, and financial opportunity, as well as personal questions concerning their business lifestyle and overall enjoyment of running their franchise.

Top Franchises Culture

BrightStar was among 224 franchise brands, representing nearly 25,000 franchise owners, that participated in Franchise Business Review’s research on the best franchise cultures. Franchisees were surveyed on 33 benchmark questions about their experience and satisfaction regarding critical areas of their franchise systems. The brands that were selected received the highest overall ratings based on 12 questions specifically focused on leadership, core values, whether they enjoy being part of the organization, and would they recommend their franchise to others.

Franchise Research Institute’s mission is to listen to franchisees and turn their voices into scientific, actionable data. They utilize scientific methods to capture accurate and honest feedback using surveys. A company earns World-Class Franchise® title based on survey results.

Entrepreneur – Franchise 500

For more than four decades, Entrepreneur has been studying the franchise industry and honing their proprietary formula in order to bring the world’s first, best, and most comprehensive franchise ranking. To be eligible to rank, a franchisor must be seeking new franchisees in the U.S. or Canada and must have had a minimum of 10 units open and operating as of July 31, 2019, with at least one franchise located in North America. Each eligible franchisor was scored based on more than 150 data points, and those with the highest cumulative scores became the Franchise 500.

Forbes – America’s Best Franchises 2019

Forbes and industry research firm FRANdata analyzed 3,300 active brands spanning five years and identified the 30 best franchises to invest in in the high-, medium-, and low-investment categories.
