The presentation provided continuing education credit for case managers, social workers and nurses, and provided an overview of the funeral-related customs and rituals of the Roman Catholic, Protestant, Greek Orthodox, Jewish, Islamic, Buddhist and Hindu faiths.

The course was developed with guidance from leaders at national faith organizations and funeral directors whose client base is multi-cultural, along with feedback from nurses, social workers and clergy.
