Walk to End Alzheimer's October 31, 2020

September 25, 2020

This year the Walk to End Alzheimer's is everywhere in Virginia!

Richmond may seem a little different right now, but one thing that hasn't changed is our commitment to helping end Alzheimer's.

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is the world's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. This year, the walk will look different due to the Coronavirus, but the walk is moving forward in 2020 and will be everywhere in Richmond on Sunday, October 31!

Health and safety are a top priority, so this year's event won't be a large in-person gathering. Instead, you are invited to walk in small teams of friends and family while others in your community do the same. Let's still all walk and fundraise for the same thing: a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

We encourage you to invite family, friends, and colleagues to walk with you. Plan to take a socially distanced walk in your neighborhood or community.

How to participate: Register a team. A team can consist of one person. Or join a team and plan on walking on October 31 or any day and that is convenient for you! Take pictures of your team and your walk, and send them to the Alzheimer's Association, which will be posting pictures on their social media channels.
